hi does anyine have access to the 1861 census for nottinghamshire? im looking for a family with the surname tissington. in particular im looking for thomas or tom tissington born abt 1848 in retford. that would make him abt 13. i cant find him on the 1871 census but have him for 1881, 1891 and 1901. i noticed on the 71 census there was a william tissington in retford aged 53, jane tissington wife age 54 and daughter eliza age 18, im wondering if this is his parents and sister. i would really appreciate it if anyone could help me on this. thanks louise |
