I know this is boring but does anyone use a Bex Bissel and are they any good? I have three rugs to clean and was thinking of buying one. What do you think? Jo.

I've got what I think you mean - Mixes cleaner with water through their 'Super Mix' system?? (lol) uses hot water - sucks up dirty water as it goes?? - cost me about £200 but I think they have come down a lot in price since then. If I'm right - they are quite effective - but very heavy to manoeuvre. They do suck the carpet quite dry and I am always amazed how dirty the water gets (no I'm not really!) I suppose it depends how often you clean your carpets and rugs as to whether or not it is worthwhile - It would probably more cost effective to get someone in - or hire one of those steam cleaners. I bought it because I thought it would save me money because I could clean carpets myself - I haven't and it didn't! Magsxx Oh.....and they are very noisy!

Thanks Mags. I might get them cleaned in a shop then. Jo.
