Does any one feel as I do that we from N/I dont seem to have much luck on GR , and that the records office wont give anything away, dont mind paying but £13-95 per hour is a bit much for a census search. |

Hi, haven't needed to myself yet but that is very steep. Can you access the records yourself through a genes society or on the web? Good Luck, Mel in Oz. Just another thought what about creating a thread on the 'Tips Board' titled 'who are we looking for in N/I. Maybe someone else researching the same area can give you a few hints. Mel. |

Please have a look in cyndislist(.)com ( remove brackets ) it leads to various Irish sites, including I think the GENUKI ones, and you can subscribe (free) to rootsweb mailing lists and message boards which I have always found tremendous. :) Joy |
