The place does need a lick of paint, but I find it so hard to choose a colour. By the time I get round to it all I go off the colour I MAY have choosen and start all over again Much happiness Debi ( in a Magnolia World )

Easter last year I decided to decorate my back bedroom, - had the brill idea of pulling down the polystrene ceiling tiles then to artex it myself. Got as far as pulling off the polystyrene tiles then starting painting it, only prob was I didnt prepare the ceiling - ie didnt rub it down or wash it down, so the paint didnt go on very well, my Dad came round and told me I'd done a rubbish job (or words to that effect!), I had also filled in some cracks and he told me that was rubbish as well :-) so I decided to stop until he could help me, only prob he was half way though helping my bro do up his place so I had to go to the bottom of the list, my bro's place is now finished but now my Mums nagged my Dad to do their bathroom and toilet so I've gone back to the bottom of the list, fingers crossed it might get done before Easter 2006! - :-)I've had the paint for decorating it since last September, plus the paint for my kitchen which I also want decorated, an ex of mine whose a decorator gave me an estimate for doing it for me, unfortunately hes too expensive me for :-( Karen

After waiting years n years I have decided to finish my Bathroom off, so guess what I'll be doing when hubby is at darts...yes you've guessed it, one night when he was at darts I painted the hall, stairs and landing so when he came back after having the odd one or two he could smell paint not knowing what had been painted he didn't touch any thing in case it was still wet, oh how I wish I had still been up to see his face. :))) Bev
