Pat, I don't really have ancestry ;-). Emma is living with her grandparents on 1871 and 1881 census so I can't find anything on her parents. Lucia :-) Anyway, what's the question?

Christine - the old language I alluded to was middle english and fortunately one of the ancestry sites was able to translate it into today's language. A bit of latin mixed in also. John

Lucia send an email tomorrow (not through genes PLEASE) my email address and we will try a nab them somewhere!!! worth keep looking, I got it in the end with a lot of help (Crista in the states), brilliant it was solving that.
