Hi there. I wonder if someone out there can help me please? I am looking for a marriage date/details for my grandparents who were Daisy Elizabeth Bushby (FKA Martain) DOB: 23/06/1919 and Alfred John Bushby 27/01/1917 both now deceased. I have searched the marriage registers for the years 1936 through to 1954 and have found no marraige dates or details and the information from family members is very sketchy. They had 3 children in the years of 1947-1949 (one being my mum). Alfred John Bushby was posted to Germany with the Navy sometime around 1949-1950 for approx. 6 years. It might be possible that they got married after the children were born in Germany. Can anyone help or suggest where I might be able to look? Many thanks indeed. |
