Hi. I have been a memeber here for a few years, and only just found this chat section. Its prob been staring me in the face. Like not seeing the woods for the trees. Social networking is a good thing, and should be promoted. Anyway been reading. Thanks to the piskie for the pastie recipe. I knew it and seeing someone else print it backs me up. There has been previous discussions here as to what is correct. There is piskie blood in my viens as my father was born and bred in Helston. My aunt owned the jewellers shop at the top of the street for ages. Now i live in Brisbane Qld Australia, and have been here for 35 yrs. There are a lot of Winters (family name) in Cornwall and other parts of the west country. I,m here lookig em up . Cheers to everyone on this board, hope to chat more. Derek (Dirk) Winter. |
