Unfortunately - some phrases and words do not translate well. The other night we were all referred to on this board as 'this Lot' - again- now we are the 'Mob' - that could be acceptable if he were a regular visitor to this Chat Room - Maybe I could get away with saying it about our Morning Crew as could any of you...........? But there are words that just don't cut the mustard, we don't use the word Fanny - in the same way that the Americans do - it has a different meaning - as do Fags! Lets just let it go and enjoy the Sun! And lets remember our Manners - if he's ever about at our time - maybe he can join in and enjoy a cuppa? |
