i need some help / advise. my grandad is not very well and doesn't know anything about his family so i am trying to find out as much as i can, as soon as i can. i've managed to find out his mum's name, maidenname, DOB, the day she married and the date that she died. i haven't managed to go back any further, and to be quite honest i don't quite know how to go about it. But i am really struggling with his dad. all i know is the day that he got married, i don't know how old he was, when he was born, or when he died. All i know is that he was roughly 20 years ( and again this is guess work) older than his wife. his wife was born in 1903 which would make him born roughly around 1882. to make this harder is name was Henry and there are too many to be sure i have the correct one. does any one know how i can get any further with my search. any suggestions will be greatly appreciated emma
