I don't know if you can help me but I'm stuck big time with a relative. I have a date of birth for him on his death cert but I can't find a record of his birth. I've checked the records for 2yrs before the given date and 2 yrs after but no luck... is it poss for someone not to be registered? It was about 1895 he was born. He worked on the ships so I asume they needed a recored of his birth for the crew list? <scratches head> Any advise would be fantastic x
