Can anyone help. My research has all been in vain. My mother died recently and we have discovered that she was in fact adopted! We have an adoption certificate from 1935. It gives mum's correct date of birth, 28.09.1920. and her name, Dorothy. It also gives her adopted parents names. All this time I thought they were her actual parents! It doesn't give any information about her birth mother or father. Can I find out? If so, how? Thanks for any advice. Penny
