I asked about a shingles jab recently, but am undecided about whether to have one.

You get shingles, when the chicken pox virus dormant in one's body is reactivated, but I have never had chickenpox even though my sister did as a small child and we shared a bedroom.
Our 3 children all had chickenpox back in 1980s and I never caught it and I've been working in school for years, so it's thought that I'm probably immune.
Nurse said there was nothing in her guidance for someone in my position, so it was up to me.

A damp start, but brightening hopefully.

I've been a brave little soldier, just back from my second Shingles jab :-0. So I'm all jabbed up now :-)
