I thought it was good too although I must confess to a bit of channel hopping during

the chat.
Chris was fantastic and loved his comments afterwards :-D :-D

Well that was a saga! I got a numb bum from sitting through it ;-)

I made notes all the way through, but agree that most of the girls did slightly better than the boys. Although Craig disagreed I though Shane did very well :-(

Not sure I like a hirsute Craig, but it may be cos he is in Panto this year? Still doing his maiden aunt act of disgust, but hopefully he will thaw out a bit as the series progresses ;-) See Anton has adopted Len's Seveeeeern. :-)

I though Chris's dance was nothing short of remarkable. Such a quick witted fella, he offered to drive Craig home. :-D :-D

I see Dave Arch got a mention in passing, but still not naming the singers. :-| They are an integral part of the show, and without them it would not be the same. Come on girls give them a proper mention.

The screeching upstairs with Claudia was reaching fever pitch again. Show your appreciation, but the constant chanting does get a bit wearing.

A good show nevertheless, we will see what we will see over the coming weeks. :-D

I think they all did well, it must be nerve wracking dancing in front of a live audience and knowing that millions are watching at home :-0

I too think Chris did very well and Dianne has to be congratulated on her teaching abilities. To be able to dance when fully sighted is one thing but to dance like that being blind is nothing short of brilliant :-0

I thought the girls outshone the boys though :-0. With Tasha, Sarah, Sam & Montell leading the way.

JB and Amy with their Waltz were the best for the boys and yes it was great to see Amy back :-) <3

I also thought for the boys Wynne surprised and I can see him being a contender moving forward :-)

There are some that have a bit of catching up to do even though it is only Week 1 :-0

It will be interesting to see how the Class of 24 all get on when the competition starts proper next week :-0

Well done to them all for a cracking first show :-D

I was quite impressed with the blind comedian Chris as wasnt sure how it would work but he did do better than some!

There are some with good potential and some who wont last long!

Well that was a saga last nigh! All that padding just to see who is matched with who.

The jokers in the pack are definitely Chris and Wynne. Loved the gag with the GP, thought that was very witty.

Lovely to see Amy back. Her special showcase brought a tear to my eye. She is such a pretty girl and she has a very positive look on life <3

Pleased that Neil has a partner this year, he has been in the background for a few years now. But sad that Kai does not have a pairing.

Great to see Ellie and Vito reprise their winning dance, I had forgotton how dramatic it was.

The photos at the end with Dave Myers and Robin Windsor was a lovely touch, as we have lost both of them this year. So sad <3

As far as I could see the competitors are all very keen, but I think two of them have very big egos, so will be interesting as the weeks progress. :-0

Roll on the first show proper! :-)

As you say Belle, interesting pairings. Strange but there was more than one professional I didn't recognise. I think that is because there had to be more female professionals this year.

Lovely to see Amy back and I loved her dance.

Love Chris's humour, must be so very strange to hear all the noise around you but not be able to see. I noticed at the end Diane had him right down the front not in the middle. I am wondering how she is ever going to get him to dance. (at all) but he is so funny and quick. when the doctor contestant had been talking he chipped in that they wee just so pleased to be in the same room as a GP/

This is where it starts to get interesting :-0

As usual some interesting pairings....who will raise the Glitterball this year :-0

Wynne Evans won Masterchef last year.

Jamie is jay from Eastenders and he can dance too. Yeah Nick Knowles did complain about his back but maybe he got it sorted otherwise, he wont last long!

At least this year, there are no professional dancing celebrities...well i dont think are?

We shall see what the evening brings!

Maggie, surely all the male 'celebs' have to learn to lead? Why would Chris Mc be unable to learn just because he is blind? I imagine the professional females know how to make it look as if their amateur partners are 'leading'.

I know just two of the 'celebs' LOL I wouldn't have known who Wynne Evans is if 'go compare' hadn't been included.

Are there going to be enough male professionals willing to do the show as there's been so much hoo har :-0
