Thanks folks

This time I did put off going to the doctor for a while as my imagination was going into overdrive and I really didn’t want to go down the road again of surgery and chemo , but then I gave myself a shake and was don’t be foolish get it checked

Not knowing doesn’t mean something sinister goes away !

So glad I did cos now I can dismiss the discomfort that occurs from time to time as oh go away !! :-P

My earlier reply seems to have disappeared...

So pleased for you Shirley that you have been reassured.

It's little wonder that you were concerned, but did the right thing and got checked and now can get on with day to day life.

Well Shirley, that's a great relief to you and so glad all is well.

But we can hardly blame you for worrying given what you have been through, so glad they did the right things with a mammogram etc to give you peace of mind :-D

So for several weeks been having breast pain in the left boob

Mentioned it to oncologist on last appointment for ct scan results of the lymph node with the cancer which was stable

He said the cancer I had doesn’t go to the boobs so if it doesn’t settle see your GP

So two weeks ago I did as still getting breast pain which was like you have before your period starts

She examined me and said no lumps or enlarged lymph nodes but in view of your history I will refer you to the breast clinic

So less than 10 days later been examined by a breast specialist and had a mammogram and thank god absolutely normal results

Seems it’s possibly referred rib cage pain or mastitis but in any event nothing sinister

Just keep checking yourself and if any concerns go back to GP

So now I know I can stop worrying and dismiss the odd pain :-D
