I think what our late Queen said in her now famous statement is very apt once again "some recollections may vary" :-D

SylviaInCanada Report 12 Jan 2023 01:10

I just cannot believe that anyone could be so ill-treated for his whole life from birth on, and remember every single slight that someone gave.

The "cold fish" comment he made about Princess Margaret is only one example ............. I remember reading/hearing many times that the Royal Family gives joke presents, so getting a funny/strange gift is now a slight????

I agree with the comment that he certainly isn't a "gentleman" any longer. Gentlemen do not tell, nor do Officers and soldiers.

Now our local paper has printed an excerpt where he says that they wanted to move to Canada because people ignored them when they lived on Vancouver Island, didn't pay much attention.

Doubt if they ever realised that it was because people were not interested in them???

Could you imagine the next family gathering if they were there! Shh, no one say anything Harry is here...or quick start recording so we can prove what we said when the next book comes out.....
Will they have the nerve to turn up for the coronation do you think? I think they will they're so full of themselves and so convinced they're right about everything.

Love how Meghan refused to talk to her father, because he 'spoke to the media'.
Now we have this, I wonder how much the pair of them will start whingeing if the Royal family now ignore them.

Didn’t she have to admit in court that she had ‘forgotten’ that something had actually happened?

Makes two of them with memory difficulties.

Caroline

Caroline Report 11 Jan 2023 18:55

I want to know who records so much stuff for years just in case they decide to write a book because the family won't be nice to them! Why keep those text messages about the bridesmaid dress....assuming the text are real.

nameslessone Report 11 Jan 2023 16:45

Is he using a double, because I don’t think the man who was playing around at the latest interview was the same as the first three :-S

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 11 Jan 2023 16:37

In another Age, Harry could have found himself in The Tower as it might have been deemed some of his remarks were touching on treason :-0

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 11 Jan 2023 16:06

Especially as you said early Caroline he has other books to write under his deal....who would trust him to keep any future talks with his family private :-0

Caroline

Caroline Report 11 Jan 2023 15:12

The really sad thing is he honestly believes this will help him get back with his father and brother as long as any future talks are kept private......it's lost on him isn't it.

For someone who seems so happy to throw everyone under a bus and tak about incredibily peronal things it was interesting to see him get het up over somethings in the Bradby interview. He defintiley did't like one or two things brought up.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 11 Jan 2023 14:36

It seems that everything that has ever happened to him is somebody else's fault. I hope he doesn't bring up his children with his ideals.

I wouldn't bother to read the book if it was given away free, when he is spouting his 'truths'?? on TV I either turn over or off Why do we have to have it shoved at us day in day out?

Having said that, it appears from her facebook posts, my sister believes every word he says and she is normally a sensible person so he is believable to some.

Florence61 Report 11 Jan 2023 13:17

Also in that famous 1st interview, Megan says, that a member of the royal family asked about the possible colour of her unborn child's skin. Harry refused then to say who asked that question.
Now he says, it was the press that raised that question and he did not say it was a member of the Royal family!!
Yes Maggie, priorities which just now is for him to make as much money by selling his family down the river, what a disgrace.

I don't think any of his army friends etc will want to speak to him after this.

After all, when someone is in the forces, whatever happens on the" battlefield", stays on the battlefield. It's never discussed outside of the forces etc and he now he has broken the trust which can never be repaired.

maggiewinchester Report 11 Jan 2023 12:33

LondonBelle -

Harry: I killed 25 Taliban
Also Harry: 'Sob', my brother broke my necklace.
Shame no-one taught him about priorities.

I can't see anyone wanting him to him host the 'Invictus' games now.

According to last night's news it is the fastest selling non-fiction book ever. People all over the world are buying it, with the highest proportion in the USA.

I also saw a comment from one reviewer that it was the weirdest memoir he had ever read.

I have no intention of buying it! :-|

Caroline

Caroline Report 11 Jan 2023 11:33

Worryingly Harry still has other books to write under his deal and yes Meghan has a book deal too,

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 11 Jan 2023 11:23

I think there is something seriously mentally wrong with Harry if he doesn't think that what he has done is not hurtful to his Family! How on earth he thinks that he will get his 'Father back and his Brother back' in attacking them in such a public way is beyond me, it certainly a very strange way of doing it :-0

I agree with Maggie about his therapist. Someone needs to tell Harry that he's been robbed:-0

He wrote in his book that he killed 25 Afghans but now he is saying The Press took it out of context and has put his Family at risk but hang on a moment did he or did he not say in the book he killed 25 Afgans :-S

I suppose we will now have another book "Meghan, Wife of Spare' to look forward to...NOT :-|

I might be tempted if I found it for 50p in a bargain bucket.

He may have been an officer but he is not a gentleman.

Added: Ithink the Swindon bookshop had it right when they displayed the book along with another. ‘How to kill your family’.
