There is a whiff of blackmail for sure but he surely must know this is not the way to do things. Unless we're all assuming too much in Charles carrying on the old sniff upper lip traditions......

Well, it would appear Harry, according to an interview with the Daily Telegraph, has enough for two books as the original draft was over 800 pages :-0

However, he has said some of the draft was for context only and if it was released his Family would definitely never speak to him again :-(. He wants accountability and an apology for Meghan......is there a whiff of blackmail there :-0

I’ve not read the interview yet but One thing you don’t do is tell your sibling how to bring their children up.

It must be awful being so poor Maggie I wonder how he manages to make ends meet now Papa doesn't give him an allowance. :-D :-D

I'd love to be a 'pauper' of Harry's calibre! :-D :-D :-D

Perhaps the time has come to re-write "The Prince and The Pauper" to give it a modern twist, and I'm not talking about Oliver!

Caroline

Caroline Report 13 Jan 2023 16:25

It is interesting how they feel their truth doesn't need to be backed up and yet they moan about all the stories published about them that they didn't get paid for. I'm sure some of what they say is true....they'd be special siblings if they never fought....most siblings don't want a younger one hanging around them all the time at school....but a lot has been proven to be inaccurate to say the least.

Neither of them would know the truth even if it jumped up and bit them. :-|

Maybe, when Meghan publishes her version of the truth we will get an explanation as to the difference of publishing a letter sent to someone by het and the publishing of texts sent to her.

nameless ...........

You are quite correct. Meghan did go ballistic about that park event ............ plus she didn't like being called on the way she was carrying Archie!

Having PTSD (or whatever he wants to call it) would not be unlikely, and could account for many of his actions.

I wouldn't want him at a family reunion of mine, at least not without having a recording in full (visual and sound) of every meeting

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 12 Jan 2023 11:38

About a year ago he was reported as having EMDR therapy.

It can take years to recover from PTSD.
My friend's been having treatment for over 2 years, and still isn't back to anything like his former self.

Harry should at least have been advised against making all his thoughts public.
Perhaps he was, but ignored the advice.
Perhaps he thought it would be therapeutic to get it all off his chest - though I doubt he'll be thinking that now.

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 12 Jan 2023 11:18

But surely if he has PTSD/PTS Injury that would have been picked up by his so called 'therapist' and treated accordingly :-)

Caroline

Caroline Report 12 Jan 2023 11:18

Now it seems, and really can't be denied with so many mistakes in the book, the ghostwriter is admitting the line between memory and fact is blurry......so now it's a work of fiction right??

nameslessone

nameslessone Report 12 Jan 2023 10:51

Maggie :-D :-D

AG. In one of his interviews Harry denied having PTSD as he knew he didn’t have a disorder. He claimed to have PTSInjury. I looked it up, there seems to be no difference except that the term Injury was felt to be more acceptable than Disorder.

I think he has been doing a great disservice to sufferers and to those affected by drugs.

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 12 Jan 2023 10:43

I see there's now a suggestion from an Army person that he's suffering from PTSD.

That would certainly fit with the behaviour and reactions I've seen in a friend of mine (a formerly sociable out-going person) who has it - believing that everyone is against him, and making ill-advised public claims to that effect, which has had the unfortunate result of antagonising some former friends, who seem unable to understand that he's ill and would never have said or even thought those things if he'd been well.
His claims have therefore now become true to some extent, sadly, due to his own actions.

If Harry does have PTSD, he needs help fast.

:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

My fingers went to the right!!!

That would be King Charles

nameslessone

nameslessone Report 12 Jan 2023 10:22

Long Charles. Thought Edward 1 had taken that title (Longshanks).

It seems to being suggested that Anne and Edward are against the two coming as they don’t want conversations leaked. Can’t blame them.

They could always be invited and seated at the back and not invited to family gatherings ( they don’t go to them anyway - they jet off quickly) then no one could say they weren’t invited.

maggiewinchester

maggiewinchester Report 12 Jan 2023 10:10

It seems they're no longer invited to the Coronation, as Long Charles doesn't want people's conversations published in a paperback! :-D :-D :-D

No doubt more 'poor me' trash will follow.

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 12 Jan 2023 10:05

And isn't that why they (or at least Harry) wanted to leave the UK and royal duties - to live an "ordinary life" away from press intrusion?

Though perhaps his idea of an ordinary life differs somewhat from ours.

nameslessone

nameslessone Report 12 Jan 2023 09:23

Sorry, they didn't like the Canadians ignoring them. Has my memoray curated and Meghan didn't go balistic when she was spotted in park with Archie and some dogs? :-S
