Can you still buy suspender belts, without visiting Ann Summers?

Florence, it is the thought of not realising the grip is loosening until one is out and about that worry’s me. ;-)

ZZzz try uk.tights.com
They have Charnos white lace hold up stockings in S m l. M is 5ft 4-5 ft 8 £15.99

Florence61 Report 9 Dec 2022 16:39

I have bought decent hold ups that cost about £10 a pair but they do work and last about 20 washes before the grip starts to lose its hold.

I made the mistake of buying a cheap pair from a supermarket once for about £2 and they were rubbish. So good quality say Charnos etc will do the job nicely.

Names, i have average legs. def not perfect :-D :-D

Like AG I haven’t bought tights for years. Got fed up with them either ripping as they were a touch too small or crinkling down when I wore a larger size. So trousers for me.

I have always thought one either needed perfect legs or a lot of courage to wear hold ups.

10 inches worth of wrinkles around the ankles?

ArgyllGran

ArgyllGran Report 9 Dec 2022 10:14

It's several years since I last bought tights, as I always wear trousers, but I've just had a look at the last box of tights I bought.

It says size L fits a hip range including 44", and heights 5' 0" - 5'10"
