Ours was a massive cloud burst with high winds - timed to coincide with school pickups.

Went through in about half an hour.

Yesterday, I looked at the forecast for Winchester for today.
It said sunny, until 4pm - THEN heavy rain (amber warning).
It wasn't :-|
We have had rain and wind since 9am, then torrential rain and strong winds since about 11am.
It stopped about 4pm, but looks set to return.

Apparently, it's going to be very sunny here, tomorrow.

I know the forecast was for rain but I wasn’t expecting THAT, and we are not even in the yellow warning zone.

Haven’t seen anything like it for years.

Been out for a muddy paddle trying to sweep some of the flood onto the lawn, not much I can do about the front path because it slopes in too many ways.
