I've never had free credits in the 17 years I've been a paying member. The GR team of hardly anyone has always treated different members in a contradictory manner.
All a bit 'dip dip dip' and what mood are we in today.
Just saying as greyghost brought the subject up.

Are you with GR - what membership level are you on Olwen?

I'm a Standard member and get 50 'free' credits when I renew. My renewal date this year was extended from 9th -15th October (can't remember why) but it seems my free credits did expire yesterday, none available on checking today, so I can't open records at the moment. Presume (?) I'll get given credits on 15th.

On which site are you viewing these census records?

Are you looking at the censuses on GR, Olwen?

I don't think any of the helpers use GR for censuses - or any other records, except Electoral Rolls or sometimes the British Newspaper Archive.

For censuses and other records, we mostly use Ancestry, or FMP, or Freecen - and other sites.

Recently I have only been able to see the person I am searching for on the census and not the street record which I can usually forward to the next street, or go backwards to streets before. Can anyone advise why this is.

Thank you.
