I dont know if i am posting this on the correct board so forgive me if it isnt.

I want to inport a GEDCOM file of my tree, on the import gedcom page it says i have to delete my tree on Genes but on the help page it says i dont have to delete it.

Am i reading this wrong, can somebody advise what i have to do please.

Thanks in advance

You don't have to delete your Genes tree, however the imported tree will overlay it, and you will lose the Genes tree plus any attachments in favour of the new tree.
I think that's correct.
