Just finished loads of ironing and all the washing dried as we have a sunny/windy day here :-D :-D

No MILK and no BREAD Maddie !

I'm shocked as our dairies produce milk and our bakeries make bread (although we get grain from overseas too so I wonder if that's the Ukrainian/Russian effect).

I am watching the 'Boris Show'. I've seen two episodes now and I think Kenneth Branagh plays a good part as he's got the bumbling and the voice right. Only one teeny thing rankled - 'carry on up the Tiber' instead of 'Khyber' and I thought even if the scriptwriter had written Tiber, those who scrutinised and edited the film before it is screened missed the slip. The scriptwriters may have been too young to recall it correctly but Branagh is of an age when he would surely know the saying though. Pernickety, I am! :-0

The guy who plays Matt Hancock has the look of him, I think, as does Neil Ferguson. I am not impressed with Dom though.

I am still enjoying it though and will start on Episode 3 tonight. What did those of you who watched it think about it?

It’s dry here and I have a load of washing in so keeping my fingers crossed.

The Council did a good job of ours, Gwyn. While they were on we asked them for a wider driveway. Even one of our grocery delivery drivers commented what a good job they had done.

Another driver once warned me I’d left one of my car windows open about four inches. It’d been like that all night but I never breathed about it to OH or he may have had my guts for garters! :-0

I’d love to do the rounds with one of those grocery delivery drivers one day just to see what they see because they seem to miss nothing. :-D

Workmen are outside noisily laying Tarmac on the pavements and with that comes tip-up delivery lorry and lots of scraping and shovelling, then noisy rollering of the surface :-|
They've been at this project since mid June and it's always a guessing game as to which roads they will target next :-S
