Interesting Mr M. 'Old Age' is what they put on Prince Philip's Death Cert too. I didn't think they would put what she actually died of, they always were secretive about health issues. At least they were spared what they used to put on Death Certs for the elderly 'Senile Decay' :-0

The time of death is interesting... 15:10. I suppose they had to ensure all the family and extended family were informed before it was announced to the public which was around 18:30 <3

As you say Belle better then “senile decay. “

We were never going to be told the real truth anyway. :-(

My dad had 'old age' on his death cert, he was 93.

I don't see that we should know anything more about the the queens cause of death, at 96 is 'old age' not enough?
I'm surprised the cert has been made public so soon.

I don’t understand all the fuss about the cause of death.

I have always believed that is what my mother sired of. But because she never saw a doctor and was on no meds she had to have an autopsy. They found some heart issues. Of course they were she was 93 and her heart stopped working.

"Of no distemper, of blast he died,
But fell like an autumn fruit that mellow'd long,
Ev'n wondered at because he falls no sooner,
Fate seem'd to wind him up for fourscore years,
Yet freshly ran he on twelve winters more,
Till, like a clock worn out with eating time,
The wheels of weary life at last stood still."
