Getting a bit twitchy about our boosters which we are getting on Saturday. Previously we were a week apart, now it is 20 minutes. Hope we don't feel unwell at the same time.
Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better Bob.

Had my fourth booster (Moderna, previous jabs have been Pfizer) on 14th and felt a bit off colour the next day. However as I had the flu vaccine at the same time it could have been due to that.

I was very lucky not to get it as we had been in the car twice in the same day

She took me for my booster jab and then later we took the cat to the vet for his annual jabs

She is ok now but does seem to have long term fatigue even though she has had three jabs

I have received an email now saying as a vulnerable I am entitled to the winter top up jab that is now booked in for two weeks time, that will be jab nos 5 !

Having the flu jab too a few days earlier

Bob, I hope you and your good lady soon feel better and test negative again.

Shirley, I hope your grandaughter too will soon be on the mend.

Florence
They keep changing their minds about the gap between injections. I just got in on one in May, when I was told I needed a 6 month gap between them... I was 6 months plus one day since the previous one.
Another one booked for this weekend, but I have a heavy cold at present, so don't know if they will do it?

Oh Shirley, poor granddaughter but am glad you didn't get it as your immune system is low because of the Chemo, so you were very lucky.

Oh Bob, sorry to hear you and Mrs Bob have Covid as you have been lucky until now. Hoping you get clear very soon and then you can get you next jag.

I only had 2nd jag in Mar and heard nothing from the Vaccination Clinic since. So, I tel today and they said they are starting the over 60's next month so have put me down for a booster jab with the Community Nurse coming to my home. I should have had 3rd dose in jun/jul but no one contacted me...usual story these days!

OH and I are booked in for our winter booster (5th) and flu jabs next week. Previous ones had little effect, so hope this continues.

Get well soon Bob and I hope you can get a new date for your jab.

Bob, it happened to me a while ago even though I’d had my fourth booster - but I do know where and who I picked it up from. As Dtr pointed out, if I had not had the jab I may have been really ill but as it was it was like a heavy cold. (My sense of smell is not yet back to what it was though.)

I had my fifth booster a few weeks or so back so fingers crossed I will not get it again.

Bob, I hope you and your OH get well soon and that, as Dtr says, you don’t have it bad because you have both been vaccinated.

Get well soon Bob & Mrs Bob. Hopefully you will only have a mild dose. We've managed to avoid it so far but I keep feeling our turn will come. I'm surprised it was your 4th jab you were going for. We're in the over 80s group and are booked in for our 5th jab shortly.
