... of having an outdoor water meter when the water company are not reading it and sending estimates :-|

Names, I found out my mum had a water meter that we knew nothing about. I had to open a new account in my name and when I asked about reading the meter, I was told, they only do this every 6 months.
How often do you get a bill and when did they last read it?

Last one was also an estimate but OH didn’t notice. It was just this time they planned to raise our charges by a big amount.
