They were on there own that's why Von, lots of the orthopaedic hospital opened for WW1 were closed or used for other purposes. |

But the general surgeons didn't recognise them and they were on their own trying to help people. The orthopaedic surgeons called London a foreign country because of how awful London's general surgeons were to them. Remember this was a long time before the NHS and surgeons were seen as the tops. |
