I've just watched this programme this morning and really enjoyed it.

It was a shame that the letter in his file about his mum had influenced the way he felt about his birth mum and I'm glad they seemed to resolve the issue in the end.

Such a shame that his birth dad had died so recently (3 weeks before the adoption agency lady tried to contact him).

What a shame that he missed meeting his birth father by such a short time, but it was quite moving to hear his family say how much he was like his father.

I was pleased for him that he got some answers, but it was lovely to hear him say that Olwen ( adoptive mother ) would always be his mum.

TONIGHT
BBC 1 at 7.30 pm. Friday 2 September

A black baby born to a white unwed mother in 1973 was adopted and raised as a Welsh speaker in north-west Wales.
Although he feels the area is his home, he embarks on a search for his birth parents, but fears he may have left it too late...........
