	Info about the Adoption Contact Register: https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register Use that if the birth and/or adoption was in England/Wales. Or if the birth and/or adoption took place in Scotland: https://birthlink.org.uk/services/adoption-contact-register/ If both of you have registered, you may be put in touch with one another.
