Afternoon Fly. <3 :-D

Did you fancy a lie-in? ;-) :-D

Jem, that was an interesting article - surprisingly, it even managed to bring Errol Flynn into it too. Who knew about his father?

Graham/ Graeme Lyne? Not as yet Joy .....but there's time ;-) :-D :-D

Off the top of my head .... The farmers were wrongly blaming the Tasmanian Tiger for killing their livestock so Sir William put a price on their heads. They were wiped out :-(

EDITED...
I've found a website that said JOHN Lyne, Politician. but Sir William's middle name was John so perhaps it was him or his father John

Good Morning Belle, Von, Joy and Everyone :-D <3 :-D <3 :-D <3 :-D <3

It's drizzling here today, but I did the washing yesterday so that's OK :-D

I'm excited over a new DNA match. I was told by a Kiwi cousin, that her father told her that a Governor of Tasmania (Sir William Lyne) was his uncle. Now I couldn't find a link. Then I found a second branch of Lyne connected to me and couldn't link that in either. But I now have a DNA match to a descendant. So I shall be investigating!

Not sure how I feel about this, as when GS1 was in primary school we did a project on extinct animals. GS1 chose the Tasmanian Tiger. Apparently it's Sir William's fault they became extinct!!!!! :-0 :-0 :-0 Small world :-D

Have a good day Everyone <3

Morning Belle and Von. <3 :-D

Bright and sunny here too.

OH, who likes gadgets, has a colourful new one that tells him day, date, time, humidity inside and out, temperature inside and out, air pressure and even an alarm. It’s a vast improvement on the old gadget. :-D
