My sis-in-law used to make jelly milk for her children the way you made it, Pat. More often than not, particularly if I was running late, my children got fruit with either yoghurt or ice cream.

My Mum used to make blancmange when we were children - different from jelly milk and flummery, I think.

Von, the real recipe apparently contains oats, according to an online source. For me that would be a waste of oats as I am a porridge lover but if you make it, let us know what it’s like, please.

We called it Jelly Mousse, used to make it when the kids were little :-D :-D
