Funeral Plans

I’m so glad we haven’t taken out a plan (yet). Worrying for some of those that have.

As from the end of this week all Funeral Plan providers have to be regulated by the FCA. Most people who have them will be OK, but there are some 30 companies who will not be regulated. Some have gone out of business and some have decided not to apply.

If you have a funeral plan with one of these firms, it may be worthless - some are being transferred to other companies but others are not. To find out about your particular provider (if you have a plan!) the link below is a list of all providers and their current status.
