We’ve had French beans Island but runners are very slow. Got garlic and onions

I haven't grown any runners this year Von, they didn't do well last year. I must say, I much prefer climbing french beans :-D

I dread to think Island…they are old clay pits and very cold n deep, a school friend of V’s died in the 80’s from swimming in the same pit.

I have to admit I did it when I was young…ended up with a septic throat and ear bashing from my parents :-(
