Grandson 2’s last day of term is Tuesday 19th.

Was on the drive this morning when my pal walked past and apologised for giving me covid. :-S

Her Dtr works in Intensive Care and has to test every day at work. Two weeks ago today she had tested positive when she went into work and that’s how my pal thought she’d passed it on to me.

I was able to put her mind at rest because six days difference between contact and first symptoms is too long I think. My pal never caught it but her OH did.

Got my appetite back with a vengeance! :-D

Blue skies and another brisk wind here, so staying cool for now. The temps in Wales apparently are going to stay high till Tuesday….think daughters school is the only one not breaking up on the 15th…they have three more days the following week :-0 :-0 the teachers will be melting :-0 :-0

I did have sunscreen in my bag, but already had factor 50 on my face and arms and brimmed sunhat on my head.

Since my facial op.last December, I am extra cautious

Just seen on the lunchtime news that London can expect 38 or 39 degrees over the weekend / early next week :-0 :-0

We have cosmos in the garden, Belle, for the first time ever. They are taller than I expected but lovely and feathery with bright flowers.

Fly, I got my taste back this morning and I’m only coughing intermittently. I am feeling much better, thank you.

Gwyn, I hope you had some sun screen in your bag.

I thought it was, as I set off to buy something from a local roadside stall, but suddenly the sun came out from behind a cloud and it was full-on heat again :-|
