Fly, I wondered whether I had it just as Boris was locking us down in 2020 as Grandson 2 had been on a skiing holiday 10 miles from the Italian border and had two days poorly in bed while he was there. He stayed with us for four nights when he came back as his Mum was working away for a couple of days.

By the first Monday of lockdown when the doc rang about K’s meds I had a heavy cold and had lost my sense of taste and smell so I picked the doc’s brain and she told us to stay away from each other in the house for at least a week just in case it was more than a cold.

We’ll never know of course but last week I felt much worse than I had done in March 2020 so I think it was indeed a heavy cold then.

Son is Teflon-coated like my pal, I think. :-D
