I've just had an email from the National Archives saying that for one day only - today from 12 noon until 12 noon tomorrow (Friday) - there is 50% off the 1921 census images and transcriptions. The discount is taken off automatically and you don't need a promotion code or a subscription to Findmypast.

I've posted this on Genealogy Chat as well.

Thank you Kathleen - I used this earlier and have finally tracked down a way back cousin who had changed her name.

I have several ancestors who married men with German sounding names and they all disappear after the 1911, She went from Weitzel to Westall :-(
Now if only I could work out the Anglicised versions of Kolz and Rauch ;-)

Also while messing about with my search I 'accidentally' purchased the wrong record, so if anyone has an Arthur Westall b c1879 in Aldbourne, Wiltshire I bought it just for you :-)
