He had this antibiotic as one of the ones when he came out of hospital.....it was difficult to get him to take it then, I had to crush it and put it down his feeding tube in the end :-(

At the moment after a few attempts at spitting it out, it has all gone down.....perhaps he just wants another cocktail sausage :-0 :-)

Von

Von Report 20 Apr 2022 19:47

They tend to have different safety rules Fly. Hence my query

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 20 Apr 2022 19:48

I don't know, Von :-0

Fly

Fly Report 20 Apr 2022 19:49

Do you put it inside the sausage Belle :-)

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 20 Apr 2022 19:49

It has four segments, Ralphie needs 3 segments and it does crumble easily :-(

Von

Von Report 20 Apr 2022 19:51

My mum used to crush aspirin between two spoons and put a pile of sugar on top

when we were poorly as kids ;-)

LondonBelle

LondonBelle Report 20 Apr 2022 19:52

Oh yes, Fly. I cut it in half and slit a little opening and put a segment in each half.....I normally get away with two cocktail sausages ;-)

A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down....tra la lah :-D :-D
