Hello, I am living in New Zealand and am seeking any imformation reguarding the Beautyman Family. I have had my DNA done through Ancestry,and believe i am a relative of Rita, Alfred and Keith Beautyman decendants of [Thomas and Lucy} This Family i am told worked with shipping?? Maybe in the Hull area. If you can help ,i would be very grateful.. Thankyou Janet Fennessy

Beautyman isn't as uncommon a surname as I thought it might be, nor when combined with the first names of the family posted above!!

Not sure if relevant, but a Sidney Beautyman (maybe the one on census above?, brother of Alfred, son of Thomas and Lucy) married a Marjorie Bray in Jun qtr 1935 Lancaster.

It looks like they had 4 children there between 1935 and 1945, 3 girls and a boy, including a Keith and a Rita.

Thankyou for all your help... I have this imformation, but am trying to get a hold of Rita really , she is still alive and i just dont no how to contact her?. I see she was on this site in 2009 trying to locate her brother Keith . I see she posted this under RMRIO.

Sadly it looks like Rita is no longer a member on this site, as if you click on the 'RMRIO' to send her a message, it comes up blank.

Try looking for a marriage for Rita on the freebmd website and then look for her in the Search Electoral Rolls.

Have you tried Googling the family history. There is a website for the Beauteman ( note the e) from Hull. Www. Beauteman.com
