I'm due to receive my pension in July - Yaaay!!!
In between temping, I receive Universal Credit. They've now started regular phone contact. They phoned me on Wednesday, when, due to my daughter not working that day, and deciding to take me out, and us having too much fun, we were in Tesco's, shopping, prior to going home, when I was called.

Well this young man liked the sound of his own voice!
He whaffled on, then for security reasons asked me the name of my first pet - which I told him.
'Oh wow', he said, the number of pet names I hear that were trendy in the '80's is amazing'
'Well', said I, 'My parents were certainly trend-setters before their time, then - we had that pet in the 1950's'.
THEN he realised I was close to retirement, and, fortunately. stopped whaffling, and attempting to offer me training! :-D :-D :-D :-D
