Fresh lemon juice and sugar on our homemade pancakes at teatime.

Earlier in the day, daughter made Welsh cakes too.

I was remembering the days when the children were young and daughter's friend always came round to share our pancake meal.
Her parents ran the local corner shop, which was open long hours, so it wan't easy to fit in making and cooking pancakes.

I normally wouldn’t bother as they are not part of by weight loss diet. I am at target weight, but need to stay there. As the girls are living here at the moment, we had to have them, so we had one savoury, followed by a sweet one.
My savoury was mango chutney, ham and grated cheese. My sweet was Nutella and strawberry. I am dreading getting on the scales :-(

We did - but only Asda's ready made. 30 seconds in the microwave and they are really nice. We had them with golden syrup in a squeezy bottle. They come in a pack of eight.
