The nurse has now phoned and he’s out of surgery. I spoke to him for about 20 seconds and I can make an appointment to visit tomorrow.

I’m in Scotland, The Lothians.

He’s going in for surgery today. They are still not entirely sure what’s wrong whether it’s burst disks or Cauda Equina but they’ve said if they don’t do something in his words it could be catastrophic.
