The Queen has tested positive for Covid just days after Charles and Camilla both caught the virus, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.

The monarch, 95, is understood to be experiencing 'mild cold like symptoms', but is expected to continue with light duties at Windsor over the coming week.

She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all appropriate guidelines.

Oh dear, I do hope she gets through it without it affecting her too much. <3

Yes, She will have the best care so hopefully she will be OK. I wonder when she actually tested positive as it is quite a few days now since she was with Charles.

The News Report does say " a number of people have tested positive at Windsor where The Queen resides", so it's possible that she caught it from someone else other than Charles. :-(

I too hope she is able to brush this off, although she has looked as if she has lost a lot of weight recently and looks somewhat frail :-( <3

My Mum (who resembled the Queen somewhat) became frail at about the same age and lost weight, especially noticeable round the shoulders, I was reminded of her when I saw the recent footage of HM. I wouldn't be surprised if she's had a fall recently. She does, however, appear to have her 'marbles' which is always good!

Prince Andrew has been making secret nightly visits to see her at Windsor. You would expect her visitors and those staff at Windsor to have to take daily lateral flow tests in view of her age and position, but maybe they do and that's how others at Windsor tested positive.

I heard today The Queen has had to cancel some meetings virtually i think as she is not feeling up to it. I really hope she does recover as she is so close to her Platinum celebrations .
