Still very wild here and my living room curtains have been moving. :

With double glazing and no windows open, I'm not sure why that would be. :-S

Of more immediate concern is the heavy duty Perspex sheeting, which has impaled itself onto the corner of our garden shed.

Nothing anyone can do, while the wind is so ferocious, so I hope it stays in that position and doesn't move again. :-|

..................But the sun is still shining !

I saw the Shire had snow Emms :-D :-D <3

Tis very bad here now and the trees across the road on the common look a bit suspect
:-0 :-0

However we are quite high up here compared with surrounding areas, just texted the lodger to be careful on the 56 on the way home, he says at the moment it is not too bad around Warrington/Runcorn.

I should have got more crumpets :-( :-(

Afternoon Everyone :-D <3

Blowing like billy-o now.

Bit worried about the chimney opposite. It is a stack chimney with 12pots and about 8ft high from the roof. It always has list a bit over to the side, but if these gusts are as bad as they say they will be, it is going to go. Right onto the roof of the adjacent house. :-( :-(

So far no winds here yet, lots of heavy rain the past hour though. They have had it bad down SW around the coastal areas.

I take that back….the wind is now whistling down me chimney
:-0 :-0

Time for coffee n crumpets :-D :-D

Eunice has arrived. I think we were lulled into a false sense of security first thing.

Very dull here now. As you say Belle the sound is quite frightening. :-0 :-0

I’ve been down the you tube rabbit hole and enjoying a COT. ;-) ;-)

The covering of the roof of Sennen lifeboat station has blown off. :-( :-(

Doesn’t sound too good Down Your Way. (Was that shades of Wilfred Pickles & Elsie or have I got muddled with the old radio stars?) :-D

Yep, got muddled - Mabel was her name. :-D

Not too bad here, Fly. 5 degrees on north facing side where there’s no sun. I’ve had a walk to the shed and the greenhouse with just a cardie slung over me jamas - no one could see me! :-D

I hope your builders are finished soon. You must be looking forward to using your new room. :-D

Good morning all
It was lovely sunshine an hour ago but the wind has got up now and is gusting quite strongly, supposed to have blown over here by 12 o'clock and then just be windy, we shall see, I am not going out. Glad I don't live a few miles closer to the River Severn as two surges are expected to bring floods to the area.
