	Oh what a shame. May he rest in peace. I believe he had some connection to the North East but for the life of me I can’t recall what it was.

	I remember watching University Challenge in the 70's and if i answered a question as I was only 12 or 13, I would feel dead chuffed lol. Very sad indeed. Florence in the hebrides

	We always watched him on University Challenge but after WATCHING a couple of the more recent ones we have stopped. RIP <3
