For Christmas Day.

The daytime temperature is forecast to hit 39c here in Bunbury. :-0

Today and tomorrow is forecast to be 32c, and Friday 34c

Hold the roast turkey and just give me iced water (we are going to our daughter's place for lunch and I'm driving)

A tad warm then Allan, hope you've got the beers in the cooler already.

Nope, just put the red wine in the fridge :-D

I know that reds are supposed to be consumed at room temperature, but when room temperatures can hover at around 27-28, even with air-con, then drastic measures are required :-S

In any event, there will probably be power cuts with the surge in power usage :-|

We may be getting snow on Christmas Day as we are apparently entering a cold spell .............. it's about -2C outside at the moment, but feels much colder.

We have actually had several Christmases with OH's sister when it has been -34C and below, with lots of snow around :-D

And we had a Christmas in Melbourne when it was over 100F

I think I prefer the cold ........................when I'm warm and dry inside :-D :-D

I agree, Sylvia, it's easier to keep warm that it is to cool down.

If it's humid it will be even worse :-(

Oh don't mention humidity....the worse.... :-D

Caroline, when we lived in the Goldfields the heat was a 'dry' heat and temperatures of up to 40c felt relatively OK. Above that it started to feel hot.

Moved down here in 1986 and as it is invariably humid anything over 30c, to me, is uncomfortable.

I hate it too Allan, especially if it doesn't cool off at night....thank goodness for AC.

I'm sure it ruins your hair as well :-D :-D :-D
