I hope it goes well for you Allan.

There was no sticky breaking when we moved from Oz as we left the house rented out for a few years.

We did have a garage sale though but hardly any sticky-beakers as most found something to buy. What was left at the end of the day went to a guy who bought several items then left his phone number with an instruction to ring him the following day and he’d buy everything that was left. He did! :-D

We had an open house in my neighbourhood once, it was a new build and the whole neighbourhood turned up literally even my mother who was visiting at the time :-) Our reasoning was we'd watched it getting built and it was done in a nicer manner than many seemed to be thought out and organised. So many are thrown up as quickly as possible. The realtors gave up knowing they wouldn't get a sale at that point and saved their energy for later when real buyers came along.
Hope it turns out well for you Allan.

Thanks, Ann, so do we. :-D

The Agent had another 'home open' after ours and was then going to Albany for the weekend.

If it sells, it sells; we don't have to move but a smaller place would be nice :-)

Hope the open house was a success Allan.

We had a 'Home Open' today from 1.00pm until 1.30pm.

This is where your home is open for inspection by prospective purchasers, or any other sticky beakers who may just be wanting to have a gawp.

The occupiers are expected to make themselves scarce for this period of time, so we took ourselves off to a public golf course only five minutes away by car, where there is a café and bar.

The weather, which for so long has continued cool, wet and windy, was spring-like, which considering that it will soon be summer was most welcome.

We sat outside watching the golfers and enjoying a pint of Guinness, very pleasant :-D :-D
