	I find it shocking that when someone is involved in a National scandal that they resign, to me it proves their involvement in it so what is said is " if you offer your resignation, we will accept it and you keep bonuses, pension etc so you are left alone by the press."

	It's strange how this 'resign, and we'll say no more about it' applies only to a chosen few, isn't it? Likewise, how past racist, homophobic and misogynistic comments, online, and in newspapers are 'excused' for certain members of society, but not for 'Joe Bloggs'.

	Yes Joe Bloggs is punished but those that are not Joe Bloggs get a pat on the back and get away with it.
