Pat, it's good that Cyprus is teaching children nursery rhymes. My Grandchildren & G.Grandchildren have never heard any of them. I don't think many of my daughter's generation knew any either :-0

if I say good morning in Greek they all answer good morning - most speak fluent English :-D

even small children say hello to me when walking the dog. Nurseries learn English songs like London bridge is falling down to start their English lessons.

I looked in to the Danish Language seeing as I have 3% Denmark/Sweden DNA and there's a little town there that's called same as my mother's maiden name :-0
I thought I'd be able to learn it as I was good at German in school.
