Have you seen the video of the fight on the forecourt of an Esso station that is doing the rounds?

That is Sidlesham! Oh, how peacefully the rural folk live.

I saw there was one. Was it queue jumping?

My daughter says that petrol deliveries to her convenience store have changed. They used to be able to request a tanker but now they get it when it is their turn.

Townies have no idea what goes on in the countryside ;-)

There's a lot of Sarf London get down to the caravans at Selsey every week-end. i wouldn't mind betting it was them in the video.

I am a townie, Names, and I heard on Saturday afternoon that in the North East as a whole there was no petrol to be had at all. :-S

How true that was about the whole region, I have no idea.

All I do know was that our son-in-law did not find any petrol between his work (on the outskirts of one of our towns) and our nearest filling station (on the edge of our town). It is around half an hour’s drive between them on a good day. None of the filling stations along his drive home had petrol either.

OH filled his car up on Thursday afternoon, came back and asked if I wanted mine filling up which, seeing as I had hardly used it recently, I didn’t. A quarter of a tank is more than enough for my needs at the moment.

He wasn’t satisfied as he thought if one of our children or their partners could not get any petrol, they could borrow our cars to get to work and back so he took mine along and filled up the tank.

What I did notice is that there must be a dearth of certain products on supermarket shelves because this morning when I checked the order I have coming tomorrow there are several items unavailable.

I think it may be the same all over the country to some extent.

I’m just grateful I remembered to fill my nearly empty tank a couple of weeks ago. I still have a lot left as I’v hardly been out as I have not been too good.

Thank you JL. My bp went all over the place following a stressful situation and a nasty personal attack. I’m now on a new tablet and hope my bp will settle down. Sometimes I now have the bp of a teenager, just don’t have the teenager ;-)

Had to use the letter box on the garage forecourt yesterday and it was just like any other day. Four vehicles in and no queue.

Ed of bucket and spade season.

Don’t think our village has got any petrol yet, but it must aroundsomewhere as there was sooo much traffic on the roads.

Daughter spent over an hour trying to find petrol the other evening - she needs her car for work (care worker).
She can show her NHS credentials and skip to the front of the line - but first she needs to find a garage with petrol left.
Her work hours are long enough, without an added hour unpaid at the end of the day! :-|

Fortunately, her 19 year old daughter is at home, otherwise daughter would have had to have gone home to pick her other 2 children up, and drag them around garages. :-(
