Been for flu jab. No queue.
If I was in the building 2 minutes, that would be the limit.

Wish my GP surgery were that well organised.....I asked them on Thursday about the jab and they said phone on Monday or Tuesday .....that's if you can get through :-|

I only got the letter yesterday :-0

Had to attend between 8.30 and 9.30 and was very impressed by how efficient it was.

Getting through on the phone is usually a nightmare for us too.
Nothing to have to wait about 28 minutes 'on hold' once you actually connect after 1st hearing engaged tone for ages.
Then, if you are lucky, you get a telephone appointment for about a fortnight later :-S

Can't fault their vaccine and jab service though.

It’s stinking Saturday around here in Medway

Someone locally is emitting the most awful horse manure smell , it’s not meee !!

Can’t have the back door open for the stench

Even the cat went out and turned and came back in again

Where there is a queue, local residents have to get used to wafting smelly fuel.

No queues of horses around here that I know of :-D

Well done Gwyn for the flu jab. Our surgery is well organised too for the Covid jabs, but we had our flu at the chemist.

Docs? A different matter. Called and held on for 40 mins to ask for a call back. Only to be told when we reached No.1 in queue, that it was now lunchtime, and could we call back in an hour! Gave up.

I’ve got my flu jab on Thursday. Got a text then told to phone surgery. Did this and got an appointment. :-D
Shirley we have a compost making facility near us and sometimes the smell is awful :-(

Not heard here re flu jabs or COVID booster yet :-|

OH and I had our flu jabs first thing this morning.

Gwyn, our doc's surgery had booked appointments every minute. No messing around at all. Someone at the front door to let us in, straight to our doc's room, jabbed, then out through the back door so the surgery has retained the same set-up that it introduced when covid came along. Doc's taking no chances cos it's not long since our area was the worst for covid cases after Delta hit. Everyone working in the surgery and everyone going in wore masks.

We took some paperwork across to one of my cousins then called in to see older sis on the way back - still being careful as cousin and sister's OH don't enjoy the best of health and one is still undergoing treatment. We all kept our distance and were able to sit because it is warm here.

Looking forward to having a lazy afternoon and catching up on some telly I missed.
