Twas flowing down the drive Fly and we think we have a blocked drain as all the front path was inches deep…V couldn’t walk to the door in her flimsy shoes…too deep. Will have to investigate the morrow :-0 :-0

I never mind thunderstorms. They remind me of happy childhood years.

Along with the rain they saw us (as children) make camps in my grandparents’ vestibule with the outer door open. Made even more fun if we could have our lunch there. Happy days. <3

It started off grey and wet here this morning. It's stil dull but it is just as hot as it was yesterday. I feel really sorry for the workmen who are in the middle of cutting down a beech hedge and knocking down a wall here at the moment. They have also been bringing in concrete fence posts and gravel boards. They are absolutely sweltering.

Glad I don't have to work in this heat ;-)
