If OH takes Sharron Blackberry picking, surely she should be providing the horse manure?

Yes, I have the wet room and the wide back door with level access. There is still a long grabber as well, that is well used as it would be living with 6'8"!

We know everything will fit, hoist, bed wheelchair. still have electric can opener and jar opener.

Shame to waste them really!

Do you, like me, have the 'accroutrements' necessary for a potential stroke?
The wet room, and white handles in various odd places?
I'm contemplating growing nasturtium up the two handles either side of the front door.

Knowing, as he does, that getting me to swallow so much as a Rennie involves some form of unarmed combat, my doctor, deciding that I would benefit from imbibing some concoction or other he liked the look of, prepared his worst case scenario speech warning of the consequences of refusal.

One he listed was the possibility of suffering a stroke.Well, that would be my comeuppance wouldn't it?! But it did start me thinking that I should, maybe, get into training in case I do have one because I really don't have that kind of stamina at the moment.

I will certainly enjoy my first two days before I have to make my own breakfast and wash up after in the kitchen where they can't hear you say "One hand" whilst waving the offending object in the air and then be pushed round, hoovering in my chair.

Two dinners a week in the village one way, sausage sandwiches and any business I may need to transact at the surgery in the village the other way, not to mention the spending of my pocket money on the less essential things like toiletries while somebody else is responsible for the food and the whiskey.

Washing, washing up, dung collecting, egg buying, veg buying, Argos shopping which is more complicated than you might think, it involves eating in Wetherspoons. Anything else where there might be food too, fetes, funerals village lunch with the table cloths to wash and return and marmalade to be made at home

Think I had had better join the gym before I take that lot on! It will serve me right though, won't it?
